This charming falafel stall in Camden Market was a delightful surprise. I hadn’t planned on falafel that day, but something about the stall drew me in—probably the vegan brownie on display that my friend had spotted. The stall is small, vibrant and perfectly placed among the market’s lively food scene.
As soon as the staff noticed us looking, they offered a sample of falafel. One bite and we knew falafel would be our dinner. Learning that everything on their menu is vegan was a bonus. Their spicy tahini sauce is addictive, and I didn’t hold back when dressing my plate.
I topped mine with a fiery salsa and discovered the falafel finished with crisp fried potato shards for extra texture. The falafel itself is gluten-free, which was great to know. I’m not certain about the pita’s ingredients, but you can also order the falafel solo as a snack if you prefer.
The pita arrived steaming, soft and pillowy—a perfect vessel for the fillings and the warm falafel. Part of what made the visit memorable was the friendly staff and upbeat market atmosphere. I’d grown a little lukewarm on falafel over time, since it’s such a common vegan option, but this place rekindled my enthusiasm. The falafel were well-seasoned, moist inside and crisp outside—simple, satisfying and true to form.
And yes—the brownie was excellent. It combined three types of chocolate and an assortment of nuts for a rich, nutty finish. We brought it home and enjoyed it with vegan ice cream, a decadent end to the day that had us celebrating the find.
If you’re wandering Camden Market and want a quick, flavorful vegan bite, this falafel stall is worth a stop. Friendly service, thoughtful sauces and a few unexpected touches—like the crunchy potato topping and the standout brownie—make it more than just another market stall.
